Literacy and Mathematics are intrinsic throughout the curriculum and direct teaching follows stages set out in the Read Write Inc and Connecting Maths Concepts handbooks. 

All areas of learning are covered within timetabled sessions and playing and learning time. This is monitored through analysis of assessments and Early Excellence online learning journals.  Technology will be embedded within all Core Knowledge topics.
